Interested in our study?

Thank you for your interest in our study on the feasibility and effectiveness of the BIPAS Alcohol intervention!

Your clinic is eligible to participate if you see children between the ages of 9-14 for well-child visits and if at least one provider is willing to:

  • Attend a 1-hour, in-house CME session on adolescent alcohol use

  • Spend 3 minutes giving anticipatory guidance about alcohol use prevention to parents of children who are attending their 11-year well-child visit

  • Participate in a one-time 45 minute interview with research staff at the end of the study

The clinic must be willing to:

  • Permit research staff to access information about upcoming appointments so we can recruit eligible participants

  • Allow us to flag participants who are in the BIPAS Alcohol study so providers know to give the anticipatory guidance script

Incentives for participation include $2000 per clinic and $100 per provider, plus an hour of CME credit.
